On Friday, Akamai introduced Akamai Managed Service for Compute — a managed services offering designed specifically for enterprises that are running mission-critical workloads on Akamai Cloud. This service transforms how you approach cloud operations, with a shift from reactive management to proactive optimization.

As cloud adoption accelerates, technology decision-makers face an increasingly complex operational landscape. Akamai Managed Service for Compute aims to provide businesses with a cost-effective, sustainable solution to managing cloud workloads while side-stepping the need for enterprises to hire new engineers.

The new offering by Akamai will offer technical account support, assessment and optimization of cloud tasks, infrastructure management, responsive compute support from experienced engineers and an assigned support advocate to coordinate improved efficiency and optimization.
